Fun at the Museum and Art Gallery

Roman Surgery and Medicine Event Day
Saturday 5th March 2010
11am – 4pm
at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery
How did the Romans perform surgery? What sort of equipment or medicines did they use? Residents can drop into Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery’s FREE Roman Surgery and Medicine Event day to find out.
Visitors will be able to learn all about the work of a Roman Medicus and discover what healing cults existed in Roman Britannia.
Free Make-and-Take activities will also be available to drop in to at this event.
The event takes place between 11am until 4pm. All children should be accompanied by an adult.
For activities visitors may be asked to wait during busy periods.
