Easy as 1…2…3 – Drop in to find out more

Residents in Bulkington and Exhall will have the chance to find out more about their new waste collection this week as the Recycling Team are inviting people to ‘drop-in’ to one of two information sessions.
Sessions are being held at St James Junior School in Bulkington on tonight (Tuesday September 27th) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, and St Giles Junior School in Exhall on Wednesday September 28th from 6pm to 8pm.
The sessions will continue to run into October, with session planned for Weddington, Stockingford and Chilvers Coton next week. A full list of all of the events is available on the Council’s website.
Cllr Bill Sheppard, the cabinet member responsible for Health and the Environment said:
“We are committed to making sure residents have access to all the information they need prior to the new scheme being launched, and these drop-in session are just part of the overall campaign. I would urge residents to take the opportunity to go along to one of the sessions, find out about the new scheme and ask the recycling team any questions they have.”
The launch of the new recycling system is less than a month away, and will see an end to the various containers currently used to recycle and instead a new wheeled bin for all recyclables with a container that fits neatly inside for cardboard and paper.
