The 1st October sees the official launch of the new Customer Services Centre at Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council. The new facilities will allow customers to access all Council services from one area, from Council Tax and Benefits, through to Housing Repairs and Refuse Collection you now only need to visit the Town Hall in Nuneaton.
It's not only the local Council functions that are on offer, as for the first time a selection of services provided by Warwickshire County Council can also be accessed. These services include disabled parking permits, highways maintenance and Adult Health and Community Services to name a few.
The launch is in conjunction with National Customer Services Week, highlighting the Councils commitment to putting the customer first.
To help celebrate the opening of the new facilities, a number of community services will be providing information throughout the week, including Fire & Rescue, Warwickshire Police, Neighbourhood Watch, Nuneaton Credit Union, and the Home Improvement Agency.
Accessibility was key in the design of the new facilities, with representatives from the Disability Information Advice Line (DIAL) being consulted on the plans and new signage.
