In addition to your red box, yellow, blue, white and orange bags have been distributed to every household in the Borough. The information below tells you what we can collect and what coloured bag to use.

Your collection day will be the same as the red box, unless we notify you otherwise. We have kept the weekly service to make collection day easy for you to remember, and don’t forget to have your bags and red box ready in their normal place for collection by 7am on your collection day.

RED BOX = GLASS, CANS, FOIL, AEROSOLS, BATTERIES, ENGINE OIL

Aluminium Foil (please rinse)
Aerosol Cans (empty and please do not crush) - sorry, NO paint or gas canisters
Batteries - Car Batteries - please place considerately and not on the pavement. Household Batteries - ensure battery is fully drained or that the end terminals have tape over. Please put in a plastic bag and place inside the red box.
Engine Oil - place in a sealed container at the side of the Red Box
