The Borough Show

 

Open to the public from 10.00am until 5.00pm the show will include a whole host of attractions including a fantastic range of horticultural produce which will be auctioned off at the end of the day.  Demonstrations from horticultural partners from across the borough along with plant sales and external traders with a quantity of good quality trade stands.  Entertainers and a Punch & Judy show alongside the sounds of a traditional band will be performing throughout the day.

 

Refreshments of tea, coffee and home-made cakes and traditional ice-cream along with a range of healthy food will be on offer and served throughout the day.

 

Carrying on from the successful classes for children that were introduced in 2009 these again feature in the show.  These classes have been designed so that both schools and parents at home can participate.

 

If you are a School and wish to participate in these competitions, please contact Jo Robinson who can undertake a presentation on the children's classes - a collection service for entries can be arranged.

            

Or why not have a go at some of the entries at home, like make a pasta shaped necklace or design a menu for two special family members.
