Get hands on with Museum objects every third Saturday of the month! Join one of our Museum Access Assistants as they spotlight items from the Museum's collections.

In celebration of the Rugby World Cup being staged in Britain this year, here is your opportunity to get hands on with a selection of artefacts with a link to rugby and other ball related sports. Did you know that the first boy to be capped to play rugby for England against Wales was Francis Mingar from Nuneaton?
Mines and Minerals
Saturday 17 October
Nuneaton and Bedworth are famous for their varied geology. The Industrial Revolution saw this exploited with a growth in coal mining and quarrying. Discover more about what could be found underground and how it helped to make the borough wealthy.
