The replacement door programme began towards the end of 2005/06, with residents in ground floor flats at Lydgate Court, Nuneaton, being the first recipients of the new composite doors.
In 2008/09 tenants in Blackatree Road, ground floor flats at Park Road, bungalows in Rectory Drive, Walter Scott Road and Wordsworth Road all received new composite doors.
We are planning for approximately 320 properties to receive new doors in the 2009/10 programme. Areas proposed for the replacement door programme are The Circle, Vernons Lane, Wood Street, Vale View, Haunchwood Road, Tomkinson Road, Valley Road, Donnithorne Avenue, Bradestone Road, Caldwell Road, Fir Tree Grove, Franklin Road, Morris Drive, Raveloe Drive and Red Deeps.
Tenants are given a choice of style of their front door, and not only do the new doors enhance the appearance of the property and provide added security, they also reduce on-going maintenance costs such as painting.
