Housing Associations - Registration

You can register with the Council and a Housing Association at the same time, but the Council has nomination rights to Housing Associations and you will be nominated in your turn off the Council’s Housing Register.

 

The Council cannot force an Association into accepting a nomination, as they have the final say who lives in their property. The Council will then nominate the next person on the list in the same way that we allocate NBBC properties.
