Home Safety for Young and Older People
The Council manages a home safety scheme for all residents over 60 years old or residents with a disability. A survey is undertaken and remedial works may be recommended with the resident only being charged for the materials used. Works include fitting grab rails, small steps, refixing carpets, easing doors etc.
