You may be entitled to a reduction in the annual council tax you pay, if you or someone living with you needs a room, extra bathroom or kitchen, or extra space in your property to meet special needs arising from the disability.
The bill may be reduced to that of a property in the band immediately below your band in the valuation list. If you are in a Band A property your reduction will be 5/9th of the Band D council tax.
