Council Tax Benefits Advice
If you are on a low income, you may be entitled to receive Council Tax Benefit of up to 100% of your net council tax bill. You will be required to complete an application form and provide relevant information concerning your income and household, so that your entitlement can be assessed.
If due to the level of your income you are not entitled to receive Benefit under the scheme, you may be entitled to receive Second Adult Rebate of up to 25%, depending upon the income of, and relationship with, other adults living with you.

Housing Benefit Advice
Housing Benefit is a benefit to help you pay your rent if you are on a low income. You must live in the property you pay rent for.
Please note not all rental liability is covered by Housing Benefit.

If you are a Council tenant and on a low income, you can apply for a rent rebate. Depending on your income and circumstances, we can credit up to 100% of your rent to your rent account.
