Types of Accommodation
We have two types of category that we can offer dependant on your circumstances:
- Elderly and Supported Accommodation
- General Purpose Accommodation.
Elderly and Supported Accommodation offers applicants Bungalows, Warden Serviced properties, OAP mobility bungalows and flats. We may offer Sheltered, Very Sheltered or a Designated Bungalow or Flat if you are aged 60 or over or over 50 with a medical need.
General Purpose Accommodation can be a variety of properties depending on the requirements you have made us aware of in your application which range from one bedroom properties or bedsits, to four bedrooms or larger. This will depend on the make up of the family unit.
Council Owned Mobile Home and Caravan Sites
The Council has two mobile home sites - one at Caldwell, off Bradestone Road, Nuneaton - having 34 plots, the plots are rented on a Written Statement Under the Mobile Homes Act 1983 Agreement. Please contact the Housing Officer on 024 7637 6428. The other at Ash Green which encompasses three sites - Elwy Circle, Exton Close and Highview Drive having 79 plots.
