Biodiversity Value Mapping 2010

The Biodiversity Value Mapping Methodology (2010) scores the most significant habitats in terms of coverage within the Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull Sub-region. Within Nuneaton and Bedworth there are 14 key habitats. Scores range from 1 to 10 , with additional scores dependent on whether or not they are statutory or non-statutory sites.

This resulted in three ranges of scores: 1 - 17, 18 - 30 and 31 - 47, with each range having a corresponding target action to either maintain, restore or create a habitat. The higher the score the given to a habitat less value it has for biodiversity.
