It also co-ordinates responses to formal enquiries about land from would-be purchasers.

The main duties are:
  • The maintenance of the Register of Local Land Charges.
  • The processing and co-ordination of searches and enquiries of the local authority.
  • Dealing with enquiries from solicitors and the public arising out of the above.

We currently operate with NLIS (National Land Information Service) at Level 2.
If you are submitting a search, please ensure that the address of the property is correct, the correct fee is submitted, and whilst a plan is not always necessary, it may speed up processing if you have one. Please ensure that if you do submit a plan, it is consistent with the description of the property on the LLC1 and Con29 forms.

Personal searches by appointment only.
