Pest Control

The Borough Council offers an efficient and professional Pest Control Service to both domestic and (where resources are available) commercial premises.  Our Pest Control Officers will deal with pests that are harmful to public health and wellbeing.
 
We aim to respond to all pest control requests within 3 working days, click here to see our Performance Targets
 
Pest Control services can be arranged by telephoning during normal working hours, where our staff will provide advice and make an appointment for treatment if you wish. Alternatively you can contact us as detailed below.

What do we Charge? 

 
  • Pest control treatments for rats and mice continue to be free of charge to domestic premises.
  • Wasp, bedbug, flea and cockroach treatments are available at a charge of £58, with a concessionary fee available for those who receive Council Tax, Housing or Income Support benefit. 
 

How to Pay

 
Where charges apply, payment must be made by either cash or cheque to the officer when they visit.
 
 

Insect Identification

 
The Borough Council offers a free insect identification service.  If you take a sample to the Town Hall or the Bedworth Area office, the Pest Control Service will identify it and contact you with details and any recommended advice on treatment.
 

Sewer Baiting

 
Sewer baiting is carried out on behalf of Severn Trent. Parks and riverbanks are regularly treated to reduce and control rodent activity throughout the Borough.
