The Animal Welfare service responds to reports from the public and undertakes proactive patrols.
From 6 April 2008, Warwickshire Police will not be able to accept strays at police stations and people will need to contact their local council instead. Anyone who finds a dog during office hours (9am-5pm) weekdays should call our Contact Centre on 024 7637 6405 and our Dog Wardens will call to collect the dog. Out of hours from 5pm-7pm weekdays and from 7am-7pm Saturday and Sunday captured strays can be taken to Pheasants Nest Kennels, Smorrall Lane, Bedworth. Tel 01676 540608.
