Animal Welfare Service

The Animal Welfare service responds to reports from the public and undertakes proactive patrols.

From 6 April 2008, Warwickshire Police will not be able to accept strays at police stations and people will need to contact their local council instead.  Anyone who finds a dog during office hours (9am-5pm) weekdays should call our Contact Centre on 024 7637 6405 and our Dog Wardens will call to collect the dog. Out of hours from 5pm-6pm weekdays and from 8am-6pm Saturday and Sunday captured strays can be taken to Rookery Kennels, School Lane, Galley Common, Nuneaton. The kennels can be contacted on 024 7639 2504.
