What is the vision for your Borough?
It is important for us to work towards shaping Nuneaton and Bedworth to meet the needs of local people in Nuneaton and Bedworth.
To do this the Council must set targets and produce a vision for the borough reflecting the needs and wants of it residents.
The Councils vision was developed following the extensive consultation carried out to develop the Sustainable Community Plan 2007 – 2021, echoing the main aims of this plan.
Our vision is:
"By 2021 we shall achieve the greatest improvement in the quality of life and social justice in Warwickshire, providing value for money services in a safe and pleasant environment."
Our vision is to provide better value services.
This vision splits down into four key aims:
To improve opportunities
To make people feel safer
To make the borough cleaner & greener
To provide better value for money
This is a long term vision for the borough which sets out challenging targets to help us to achieve these aims.
