The Freedom of Information Act requires public authorities to have an approved publication scheme, which is a means of providing access to information which an authority proactively publishes.
The Information Commissioner’s Office has developed and approved a model publication scheme that NBBC have adopted.
The scheme:
- sets out the types of information that we must routinely publish
- explains the manner in which the information is published, (paper, internet or any other means)
- states what charges we can make for providing the information
Information through the Publication Scheme is generally available free of charge, apart from where there was originally a charge made.
If you are unable to find an item of information, or need assistance, please use the online form to request information and we will do our best to help. .
