Memorial Safety Inspections

Memorial Stone Cherub

This is due to a number of injuries around the County from unsafe memorials and, therefore, all headstones and memorials within the Borough will be tested.

Those with memorials within the Borough Cemeteries who would like further information are invited to attend the following public open information events: -

  • Information on further dates will be advised within this section shortly.

The Bereavement Officer and a local Monumental Mason will be available at both of the above events to discuss the process in further detail.
