The Nuneaton & Bedworth Safer Communities Partnership (NABSCOP)
works closely with its Partner agencies to reduce crime and the fear of crime in the Borough.

The Partnership Plan has been refreshed for 2010/11 providing a frame work to address the priorities identified in the 2009/10 strategic assessment.

Each year NABSCOP produce an Annual Report which gives examples of the work carried out in the Borough.  The 2009/10 Annual Report can be viewed or downloaded from the Partnership Achievements page.  Each year targets are set to reduce crime; this document shows how the Partnership has performed against those targets.

Three Special Interest Groups work on specific pieces of work contained in the joint strategy.  Currently, these are:

  • Priority Crime Group (burglary, violence including Domestic Abuse and Alcohol related violence, and vehicle crime.
  • Anti-Social Behaviour Group
  • Neighbourhood Crime & Justice Group (public perception/reassurance and Community Pay back.)

Anti-Social Behaviour is a concern for residents, in response to this NABSCOP have produced a set of Minimum Standards which the public can expect from agencies when reporting, experiencing or witnessing Anti-Social Behaviour.

A list of Useful Contacts has been compiled to guide residents to the service they require.
