Sustainable Community Plan 2007 - 2021
Nuneaton and Bedworth's Community Plan is a blueprint of Nuneaton and Bedworth's aspirations for the local community between 2007 - 2021. The third Community Plan was launched on 30th April 2007.
It's not just about creating a plan or a vision; it is about working together to tackle major issues such as transport, health, education, employment, housing and community safety. All of which affect peoples' quality of life on a daily basis.
These issues need a shared response from and the full involvement of public sector agencies, local businesses, voluntary and community organisations and especially local people in order to improve the quality of life for everyone in the Borough.
Launch of the new Community Plan with members from the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP).
The Plan was launched on 30th April 2007 on the steps of the Town Hall.
The Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) will be working with other partners to deliver its Vision. Exciting new initiatives which will help and enable the Local Strategic Partnership to drive positive change are Local Area Agreements and the Local Development Framework, both of which will transform the way that service are developed and delivered.
The Sustainable Community Plan 2007 - 2021 is broken down into four themes:
