Carers

Helping Hands
You may be a parent, a husband or wife, a partner, a son or daughter, a brother or sister, a friend or neighbour - if you are looking after someone regularly on an unpaid basis, you are also a carer.

Being a carer brings its own rewards, but it can also be very hard work, both physically and emotionally. You can get help and support.

Warwickshire County Council's Carers section provides advice and support for adult carers who care for the elderly, children with special needs and adults with physical or learning disabilities. Carers may be entitled to receive additional help and support for their own needs from the local authority.
