Potential Future Contracts and Tenders

As part of this Council's Corporate Asset Management Plan and Capital Strategy we will advertise in advance potential future contracts and tenders for Works, Services and Supplies.  The documents can be viewed or downloaded below.

The intention is to give existing and potential contractors and suppliers the opportunity to indicate interest to the Council and as importantly, potentially be involved with stages of the drafting of tenders/contracts.

Description:
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council require expressions of interest from Organisations who would like to conduct a land assessment of several Council sites.

Organisations will be required to use the Council’s database and other records, together with a full onsite assessment, to carry out a comprehensive review of all domestic garage sites, and other open spaces, managed under the responsibility of the Council’s Housing Services.

The Council wishes to have an understanding of the total acreage and location of land thus designated, and its suitability for possible development of residential housing.  The assessment should include consideration of ‘landlocked’ sites, whereby selective demolition of existing housing or other premises, would release the land for viable development.

It wishes a report with up to date site drawings and photographic evidence, to be produced that includes this information, together with:

·         the estimated value of each site;
·         the current numbers of garages in use, and void;
·         the current number (if any) on the waiting list;
·         the estimated income for the year 2008/09;
·         the estimated cost of garage maintenance in 2008/09;
·         the projected investment  cost to bring all garages and sites up to a sustainable level for ten years.

The Council would wish this review to be completed by March 31st 2009.

If you feel you would be able to offer these services or would like further information, please contact Julie Mansfield using the details above.
